Source: News18 EW DELHI: A year after PUBG Mobile was banned in India, South Korean game developer Krafton relaunched the same game with minor tweaks and renamed it Battlegrounds Mobile India, or BGMI. However, it appears that BGMI has also been banned in India. While no official statement has been issued by the IT ministry, the BGMI game has been confirmed to have been removed from both the Google Play and Apple App stores. Krafton also confirmed the news, saying, "We are clarifying how BGMI was removed from Google Play and the App store and will let you know once we have specific information."
